  • ~~SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPEREstablished and rapidly growing manufacturing company in the East Bay/Oakland area, seeks experienced Senior Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for human resource administration in conjunction with the company's controller.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Billing and Accounts Receivableo Preparing all invoiceso Communication with Customers when necessaryo Payment processing and credit card payment processing and reconciliation• Purchasing and Accounts Payableo Coding all invoiceso Maintaining A/P agingo Processing all payments and reconciling Bank Accounts• Payroll processing and reconciliation to Payroll Bank Accounts• Bank Reconciliations and all Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis• Inventory control and reconciliationo Manage and reconcile on daily/weekly and monthly basis perpetual inventory balances to physical• Job Cost Management• General Ledger:o Maintain chart of accountso Post all journal entries• Monthly Financial Statement preparation* Human Resource Administration* Coordinate Benefits Administration* Annual enrollments and filing with Benefit Providers* New Hires and Terminations Benefit Processing and coordination with Benefit Providers* Process New Hire and Termination Paperwork* Maintain organized personnel files* Work in conjunction with CFO and Controller on other HR issues. QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in accounting/finance/business administration• Minimum of 5 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience and experience in manufacturing ERP systems such as Great Planes, Real World, etc.• Strong Excel Spreadsheet and Microsoft Word skills* Exposure to HR functions and experience administering employee benefits• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Pen Pay, etc.• Self-Motivated with the ability to work independently on daily/weekly/monthly tasks.• Excellent organizational skills• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Team player with an extremely positive attitude and ability to work with othersCOMPENSATION:Compensation for this position will be conducive to experience and at market rates for these types of services.
