  • The San Mateo Medical Center is seeking an experienced individual for the position of 340B Financial and Compliance Analyst (Management Analyst) who will be responsible for ensuring the Medical Center's 340B Drug Pricing Program complies with regulatory and contractual requirements while maximizing savings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assuring use of 340B throughout the system is fully compliant with all contractual and federal regulations; monitoring and analyzing 340B program financials, creating and communicating 340B processes, procedures, work plans and training programs, and supporting other various 340B activities. The 340B Financial and Compliance Analyst will monitor changes in government program requirements and recommend changes of processes and policy to the 340B Compliance Committee to meet such changes, while ensuring data integrity. The analyst will work closely with the Clinical Services Manager, Pharmacy and the CDM Coordinator to ensure purchasing and charging functions are compliant with program requirements and prohibitions. In addition to the 340B compliance and analysis responsibility, the person performs a wide variety of professional level budget analysis and development duties involving the preparation, administration, maintenance, review and control of the Medical Center's budget; maintain specialized financial records and statistics and prepare financial reports; provide consultative services to the department managers; and perform related duties as assigned.The ideal candidate will possess:Current licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the U.S. or minimum of three (3) years of broad pharmacy financial operations experience.Experience with pharmacy systems.In-depth knowledge of financial concepts and analytics requirements.Experience in pharmacy inventory processes and systems including pharmacy purchasing and inventory management experience.Experience with pharmacy billing including split-billing software.Solid understanding of 340B auditing standards, techniques, and procedures and knowledge of the issues, trends, and challenges presented in the 340B program.Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.The current vacancy is a limited term, at-will position. Limited Term Employees are assigned to assignments not to exceed three years. They receive medical and dental benefits, similar to regular employees, and a defined contribution retirement plan.Education and Experience: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
