The Payroll and A/R Administrator will have dual responsibilities of payroll and benefits administration along with Accounts Receivable credit and collection within our organization. This position will work closely with and report to the Human Resources Coordinator and Controller respectively. RESPONSIBILITIES Payroll Responsible for full cycle Payroll function for our US officeServe as the employee relations contact for employee’s payroll enquiriesManage all benefit status changes with carriers and make appropriate payroll changes; reconcile benefit carrier invoicesReport Worker’s Compensation earningsEnsure company is in compliance with all US federal and state governmental agenciesMaintain and update electronic timesheet program user profiles, and run reports required to determine payroll adjustmentsInvolved in evaluating, upgrading and implementing computer systems to process payroll and time trackingAccounts Receivable Responsible for collection of accounts receivableProcesses credit applications from clients with our A/R insurance carrier (if applicable) or our internal credit approval process. Reviews and maintains A/R client credit limitsPosts cash receipts to ERP System (Expandable)Assists Finance department during busy periods such as yearend, audits, budgets etc. QUALIFICATIONS Post‐secondary education in Commerce, Business or other relevant program and/or experienceMinimum of 3‐5 years of experience in Payroll AdministrationExperience with ADPStrong computer knowledge including experience with Microsoft Office products, especially MS ExcelAccounting Software knowledge (i.e. ACCPAC, Sage Pro ERP, Sage 300……)Strong working knowledge of payroll processes and proceduresExperience performing accounting functions such as A/R, A/P, and/or G/L is an assetExcellent communication skills (verbal/written) in English are essential.Must maintain utmost level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of the work in this departmentShows compatibility with values of Respect, Responsiveness, Integrity, Innovation and Collaboration
