A Fremont manufacturing company is looking for a Machine Operator to set up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in production. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations to meet expected output. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component assembly, tooling setup and Sintering furnace loading profiles. Performs a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on presses. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances and/or blueprint specifications. Executes setups and makes adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Quickly and accurately communicates issues within the specified work area or cell. Continued exposure and training regarding the use of manufacturing documentation, manufacturing tooling; manufacturing equipment.Responsibilities:Set-up and operation of De-waxing or De-camphoring OvenSet-up and operation of Tumbling machine (i.e. Tumbling; polishing)Clean mechanical pressUltra-sonic cleaning and rinsingBasic soldering techniques a hydrogen/oxygen torch (i.e. soft soldering of bases; wires to tungsten rod)Basic soldering techniques using soldering ironSet-up and operation of a mini-lathe (i.e. component preparation; sizing)Set-up and operation of a scaleMix batch powder per work instructionsSet-up and operation of a Mixing equipmentClean, De-wax or De-champhor cathodes after pressingWeighs pallet on balance and measures its length with a caliperSitting, reaching, bending, squatting, standing and walking on cement floor dailyAbility to visually inspect parts for qualityRequirements: High school diploma or equivalentDemonstrated ability to work independently, with general direction from Production SupervisorsFamiliar with computer operations including MS Office ApplicationsTraining and working knowledge of appropriate processing equipmentTraining and working knowledge of safety and environmental issues within a manufacturing environmentTraining and working knowledge in SPC (Statistical Process Control)Proficient organizational skillsAble to effectively communicate with supervisor and team membersProficient written and oral communication skillsProficient leadership, team building, and conflict resolution skillsAble to lift up to 60 lbs.
