Our goal is to see you succeed!Our Client in Fremont, a global manufacturer of custom cable assemblies is seeking a Customer Support Representative with 5 years experience, preferably in the field of electro mechanical cable assemblies. Our Client offers a competitive salary with great Benefits!!SUMMARY OF POSITIONThis position is mainly responsible for the timely data entry and processing of sales quotes. This position requires a highly collaborative individual with good communication skills to act as the liaison between the customer and our global manufacturing facilities. This position will work closely with the materials and production departments in order to respond to the customer’s needs in a fast paced, quick turn environment. This position will have dual reporting to both the Vice President of Global Sales and the Sales Account Manager, and will be based in the San Jose area.Responsibilities:Ensure that quotes are processed efficiently and completed by the requested time. You will provide a weekly closure recap on open quotes to Sales Account Manager. Note that if additional time is is needed to process quotes, it is to be requested well before it is past due and escalated to Sales Account Manager.Ensure will that all RFQ’s are loaded into Rapid’s Intranet system within hours of receipt and within the timeframe that is being requested by the customer. If this can not be done within the timeframe that is being requested, you will then notify Sales Account Manager.Provide RPM (quick turn) capture rate metric on a weekly basis to Sales Account Manager.Engage in positive communication with all customers based upon their expectations and/or requests.Provide the reason for all lost orders on weekly metrics – of capture rate on the customer’s metrics.Update the quote portal on all quote signals which are to be acknowledged on the same day that they are received. If this can not be done within the timeframe that is being requested, you will then notify Sales Account Manager.Process all quotes or RFQ(S) assigned by Sales Account Manager, based on current work load. If this can not be done within the timeframe that is being requested, you will then notify Sales Account Manager.Requirements:3+ years experience in data entry, quote process management or program management, preferably in the field of electro mechanical cable assemblies in a manufacturing environment.Strong excel skillsStrong computer, written and verbal skills.Ability to communicate effectively with the internal team (factories) and external team (customer).Personable and service-oriented with a proven track record of collaboration in a team environment.Benefits:Medical and Dental Provided at No Cost to Employee$50,000 Life Insurance Coverage401K2 Weeks Vacation/Year
