  • Your Challenge: Under the direction of the National Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager of the branch operation in Union City, California this person will be responsible for all facets of customer service in an industrial / contractor distribution environment. Must be a self motivated individual capable of working in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires the ability to be creative, fluent in both English and Spanish and able to work closely with customers, sales personnel and vendors.Your Responsibilities: · Work to written and/or oral instructions of both the National Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager. · Primary responsibility will be to answer the telephone, speaking to customers and vendors, as well as company sales personnel - Prepare and process sales orders and purchase orders. · Work with warehouse personnel, walk-in customers and sales personnel in sourcing products, finding solutions and bringing inquiries to a successful conclusion. · Perform good housekeeping practices and observes all safety rules and regulations. · Maintain daily log, reports, and records as required. · Must perform other miscellaneous duties and/or special projects as required by management.THIS POSITION REQUIRES THAT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE BE FLUENT IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH.Organization Description: Safety Environmental Control, Inc. is an industry leader in the distribution of environmental supplies and equipment such as poly sheeting, adhesives, glove bags, tapes, negative air machines, heap vacuums, etc , personal protective safety equipment and other supplies and equipment associated with supplying all types of contractors and industrial entities .We are looking for: MUST BE BI-LINGUAL IN ENGLISH / SPANISH - High School diploma or equivalent. · Minimum 0-3 years’ experience in distribution customer service or similar. Experience in customer service in a distribution business preferred but not required. · Knowledge of computer based management systems helpful. · Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work non-standard hours. · Overtime is an essential function of the position and must be able flexible and willing to work overtime as required. · Must be able to read, do simple math, and write legibly. · Must be able capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. · The ability to follow instructions is critical. ·Safety Environmental is an equal opportunity employer.
