DPG Compliance and Risk Management has an opening for a Compliance Consultant with proven compliance and/or operational risk experience. This position will focus on Regulatory Exam and Audit coordination as well as projects that enhance the overall performance of the risk management functions. The role will work closely with examination coordinators across Wells Fargo to ensure DPG is represented in examinations and audits and that management is informed of status and any issues. This role will also be responsible for various operational risk reports that the DPG Compliance team produces on a monthly or quarterly basis. Successful candidates will have experience with the Wells Fargo organization and Risk Management functions. The candidate must have a track record of managing complex projects that involve multiple lines of business and will demonstrate the ability to creatively work with the appropriate LOB stakeholders and partners to determine that the most efficient and appropriate actions are undertaken. Candidates will be able to work independently while building relationships with team members and business partners. In addition, this role may be asked to fulfill any of the following as outlined in the Job Family description: Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring risk-based compliance programs to assure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory requirements or may provide oversight to a compliance function. Works with complex business units and provides compliance risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with high risk to identify and mitigate regulatory risk in all business activities. Consults with business to develop corrective action plans and effectively manage change to ensure regulatory compliance. Identifies training opportunities as needed and coordinates efforts with Compliance subject matter experts. Reports findings and recommendations to senior management. Manages and/or coordinates production of periodic compliance performance reports for senior management including bi-monthly exam and audit updates. Responsible for tracking and reporting of new or revised regulations for key industry changes (e.g. Significant Regulatory Issues). Provide Regulatory Exam and internal Wells Fargo Audit Services support including coordinating and tracking of corrective actions and validations. Identify and escalate issues that arise through the examination or audit process. Track all audit or regulator requests carefully to ensure timely completion. Partners with the compliance consultants assigned to coordinate reporting of issues to senior leadership. Assist with coordinating annual training plans, training completion tracking and reporting.
