We value and promote diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our business and at every level of our organization.The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.The Consumer Credit Card data management team is seeking an Analytic Consultant 1 to assist in development and deployment of data analytics reports and provide services to all our partners within Consumer Lending Group.The Analytic Consultant will work with users/members to assess how data can be used to improve and enhance our report’s effectiveness by making it more adaptable and actionable in our data model. The consultant will support data management team’s project and data services.Role and Responsibilities:• Daily process monitor• Develop and maintain ETL package for daily data load• Understanding data flow of processes, data integrity and basic confirming dimensional model• Help identify potential data sources, analyze, collect and transform it to technical requirements• Ability to perform data profiling and analysis using SQL query language• Work with business analysts to develop analytical approaches that meet business requirements. This involves translating requests into database queries, analyzing data, and transforming results into actionable reports.• Design, develop, optimize, maintain and tune SQL queries and stored procedures.• Develop project plans for the timely development and implementation of analyses.• Ensure that code and/or processes being developed meet specifications and are clearly documented.• Perform other related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis Desired Qualifications Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data, diagnosing opportunities, and providing interventionsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesSQL experienceExcellent understanding of Data Warehousing methodologies Other Desired Qualifications• Familiar with relational database concepts, querying, data warehousing, ETL process, requirements gathering and or decision support tools is preferred• Software development programming language such as Java, C++, or etc.• Demonstrate ability to interface with users and determine their needs• Passion about data and ability to map them according to technical requirements• Ability to structure problems, gather and interpret data and draw conclusions• Self-starter and work well under pressure environment• Highly flexible and adaptable to change• Acute attention to detailDisclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
