WFFM is the 15th largest mutual fund company in the U.S. with about $230 billion in assets under management. As a member of the equity and asset allocation product management team which is responsible for the product strategy, marketing, consulting, development and enhancement of the Wells Fargo mutual funds. This individual would work closely with higher level product development managers or management in defining competitive market requirements and opportunities; define product positioning, contribute to the development of new investment products; consolidation of existing products and conduct investment analyses to determine appropriate investment strategies and products for the business.As a member of the Product Team you will: Provide product management for the Wells Fargo mutual funds, which includes product positioning, product marketing, product enhancements and product related issues Support product initiatives such as mergers, enhancements and other product changes. Assist in the development of new products. This includes coordinating with sales partners and business units such as sales, relationship management, portfolio management, operations, legal, tax, technology and marketing Support sales by addressing product competitiveness and positioning. Support sales and marketing in product-focused campaigns. Create competitive analysis and assist in the content creation of product positioning materials to be used to increase sales and market penetration Perform industry analyses and complete special projects to support the team and organizationRequired Qualifications 4+ years of investment product industry experience Desired Qualifications A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) DesignationAbility to evaluate industry trends, understand market dynamics and develop a positionAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsKnowledge and understanding of investment management Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Other Desired Qualifications Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze financial matters Knowledge and understanding of mutual fund industry; new product development and the regulatory environmentDisclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
