POSITION SUMMARY: The People Mover supports the Lagunitas global strategic and operational objectives in regards to the Human Resources aspects of employee relocation and international placements. This position may partner with external resources for administration of relocation, expatriate and immigration programs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:· Facilitates the relocation process and performs all administrative duties pertaining to relocation.· Assists the employee and/or family on all facets of relocation; Partners with vendors, such as our household goods moving company. · Ensures policies and procedures are followed for placing expatriates.· Provides professional guidance to employees on issues such as required customs documentation and regulations.· In partnership with internal stakeholders, such as Compensation, leads visa procurement, tax equalization and coordination of housing, benefits, and compensation packages.· Consults with relocation firms, international agencies, and government officials, as needed. · Assists in the design, planning and implementation of international Human Resources programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, training, and health and safety programs.· Frequent communication with all stakeholders to maintain status reports, required information and requests for documentation as needed.· Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.· Responsible for compliance with all applicable domestic and international rules and regulation.· Acts as a supportive resource for employees and their families during assimilation into a new country/culture. Desired Capabilities/Characteristics:· A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources or equivalent is preferred.· A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources field with a focus on relocation and/or immigration.· Ability to work effectively with people from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Flexibility and availability to interact with and support employees at all levels.· Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills.· Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines and maintain confidentiality.· Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.· Hands-on approach to handle the basics of relocation administration, but can also think out-of-the-box.· Ability to manage competing priorities within a dynamic environment.· A constant learner, able to flourish in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.· Passion for Lagunitas and the beer business.· Expertise in driving efficiences in business despite practical constraints.· Goal-oriented with ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity and honesty.· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.· Ability to attend early morning or late evening meetings to accommodate varying international time zones.
