Description:
This is a full time Linux System Administrator position.

Linux Administrator is responsible for solving software, hardware, and networking challenges and acquire, through analysis, ways to prevent ongoing challenges. The ideal candidate will be experienced in administering and configuring Linux servers; troubleshooting network and routing issues; and light PHP development and BASH scripting. The technical environment includes Redhat/CentOS.

Responsibilities:
•Maintain system services, performance, and security on Linux servers.
•Implement system changes and upgrades.
•Monitor network performance and systems health.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot daily system and routing issues.
•Configure new hardware (servers and networking devices) and follow security policies for deployment.
•Assist with help desk issues.

Required Skills/Experience:
•Experience with Linux server and network administration.
•Experience with administering Apache, Lighttp, MySQL, and PHP
•Experience writing technical design and functional specifications.
•Familiarity with VMWare / ESXi environment.
•Familiarity with DNS servers and related components.
•Familiarity with SMTP servers and related components.
•Familiarity with Bugzilla, a plus.
•Ability to identify, troubleshoot and solve problems.
•Task-oriented.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
