  • Roles and Responsibilities:30% Researching, Acquiring and Identifying Malware in the wild (this includes mobile malware, trojans, ransomware and adware)20% Reverse Engineering of Malware20% Collaborating with the Software Engineering team to develop defenses (this includes developing of signatures and rules for malware detection)20% Working with sales and marketing regarding research related to mobile application threats and trends10% Outbound communications (including blogging specific to mobile malware trends, findings and research)What you need to qualify:- B.S. Degree in Computer Science- An understanding of malware families- Experience with mobile malware acquisition and identification- 3 years of experience as a Mobile Security Researcher related to Malware (Trojans, Ransomware, Adware)- Strong theoretical strategy skills in Security Research or Security Engineering- Strong Network or Applications Security (if you don't have mobile experience)Pluses include:- Knowledge of App Store and Google Play policies and practices- Experience with Android and iOS internals- Knowledge of dynamic software analysis and automation- Experience with penetration testing
