Lead and/or installation technician wanted for MediaCentric Integration in Seattle, and surrounding cities. We are a professional audio visual installation and commissioning company with regions in Seattle, San Jose/Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County and Arizona. We build some of the fanciest spaces in corporate america. We also provide specialized training onsite, in workshops and at manufacturer's' locations. We look forward to talking with you.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 18 years old.Must have independant transportation and be insured.Maintain and take pride in personal appearance.Comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Interested in learning new skills and technologies.Take pride in work, inspect, troubleshoot, test and able to correct your work as needed.Leads must have at least 4 years experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Computer literacy including Microsoft Windowsâ„¢ and Officeâ„¢ products, and the Internet/email/calendars.Experience in the operation and use of hand and power tools.Physical ability to walk, crawl and work in difficult positions and areas and physical ability to work in varying climates from 40 degrees F to 115+ degrees F.Comfortable in working at heights while using fall-protection. Must be comfortable on ladders.Cable pull and terminations of twisted pair, CAT5/6, Fiber and Coax, DTP and XTP cable including Terminate wire to plates and panels.Great soldering skills for audio connectors including XLR's, RCA and TRS style connectors.Planning and build-up of AV racks to the highest standard. Lace, terminate and label rack wiring into equipment racks.Ensure that all cabling is labeled properly and accurately using Brady labelling.Structural mounting and rigging of AV equipment including video displays and screens, projectors, loudspeakers clusters, cameras, racks and cable trays.Take care of company tool and equipment maintenance, including controlling and safekeeping of all equipment, in the shop and on the job sitesMust have a good DMV record so employee can be covered by company's auto insurance carrier.Be available to work M-F.Travel and Overtime required on occasion.
