PRIMARY THERAPIST - REGIONAL FLOATER - NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Job DescriptionAssists and supports residents through the entire treatment experience from admission through discharge. Contributes insightful, practical, and meaningful information to the treatment planning process. Orients each resident to the treatment program. Individuals who are accruing hours for licensure and possess knowledge of chemical dependency and/or eating disorders preferred. Responsibilities Include: Completes the Biopsychosocial assessment within one day of admissionCompletes the Comprehensive Treatment Plan and Integrated Treatment Summary within three days of admissionIdentify weekly treatment goals and write contracts relative to individual client needsWrite and facilitate the Discharge summaryIndividual psychotherapy sessions and conjoint family psychotherapy sessionsInterface with insurance companies, providing appropriate clinical information to obtain initial certification and continuing stay certification as requiredCharts each resident's progress throughout the treatment experience and after each individual, group, and family session Qualifications Include:Current license to practice in state (PsyD, PhD, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) preferredMaster’s degree requiredMust be willing to travel to facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area and at times to Sacramento, CA*Neighboring Cities Include: Richmond, Martinez, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Pittsburg, Antioch, El Cerrito, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Diablo, Arbor, Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Oakland, San Francisco, Daly City, San Leandro, Hayward, Pacifica, San Mateo, Union City, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Lobitos,Pescadero, Saratoga, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Los Gatos, Campbell, San Jose, Milpitas, Pleasanton, Livermore, Byron
