Compliance Consultant – May convert to FTE - 40/hr Description:· This resource will be responsible for supporting our compliance with federal and state insurance laws, regulations, and sub-regulatory guidance through the planning and implementation of compliance systems and initiatives.· Coordinates compliance processes and procedures across organizational and functional boundaries.· Researches regulatory requirements, assists in the development of internal policies and procedures to support the compliance department and prepares various reports and other compliance documents.· Assists in providing guidance to senior management regarding compliance regulatory policies, practices and internal controls.· Liaisons with internal and external auditors regarding all aspects of corporate compliance issues.Daily Responsibilities:· Attend business and compliance partner meetings as needed;· Research and analyze regulations and laws to establish compliance standards;· Support overall team’s compliance engagement and oversight activities for commercial health plan;· Support team members on the analysis and implementation activities for federal and state laws and related post-implementation activities (e.g. gap analysis, validation assessments, audits); Work with compliance leads and business partners to collect and evaluate plan documentation/validate evidence of compliance; Requirements: · Experience Level: BA or BS preferred with minimum 3+ years of direct relevant experience.· Exceptional Communication;· Critical thinking and problem resolution;· Strong Project Management skills;· Ability to support operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects simultaneously;· Detail Oriented;· Demonstrated ability to timely plan, execute, and complete projects within strict deadlines; Drafting and revising policies, standards, analyses, and reports;· Ability to both work independently and collaborate with a team;· Flexibility;· Adaptability, Teamwork and Collaboration;· Critical Observation
