SUMMARY:Provides respiratory care including therapeutic treatments, management, diagnostic testing, control and care of persons with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system under the direction a physician and/or by prescription. May serve in a relief Lead capacity. QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The specifications listed below are representative of the education and experience as well as knowledge, skill and ability required · Respiratory license as a Practitioner of Respiratory Care issued by the state of California required· RRT credential preferred· Current BLS for healthcare providers required· Computer literacy in order to chart, bill and access patient information as well as hospital wide employee systems· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with physicians, nurses, patients, their families and co-workers
