Director of Admission/MarketingSan Francisco Health Care and Rehab – 168 beds Skilled Nursing Facility located in San Francisco, has an exciting and fulfilling career opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Marketer. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year’ experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in Skilled Nursing, Rehab, Home Health Agency, and Long Term Care. LVNs and RNs are strongly encouraged to apply! You must be able to build lasting relationships within the medical community, with other healthcare providers, case managers, discharge planners, physicians and staff in order to facilitate referrals and admission to our facility. If you have established relationships with healthcare providers in the area or are a master at building them, please apply today!Duties and Responsibilities Successful presentation & Marketing of facilityConducts tours of facility for prospective residents whether walk-ins or scheduled admissions.Serve as liaison between the company and the outside community.Develops strategies to maximize admissions including daily contact with potential referral sources including but not limited to hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies.Works with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities.Conducts admission screening of potential patients, determine level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage, as indicated.Decides acceptance of patients and coordinates admissions with appropriate staff.Maintains knowledge of current regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance company reimbursement.Promotes Consulate Health Care and participates in contract closings and price negotiations with insurance companies, as assigned. Qualifications: Two plus years’ experience in an Admissions/Marketing position in healthcare environment - Knowledge of Medicare and 3rd party billing.
