Nurse PractitionerSan Francisco, CA, USAFull Time Position, Base Salary + Bonus, Multiple Positions Available We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.Our professional staff of medical and clinical professionals understands and treats opioid addiction.- Provides medical services including taking a history and physical examination for both the primary care program and the narcotic replacement therapy program, and performs appropriate follow-up on patients' medical issues as indicated.- May write drug orders or written transmittal orders and call for refills under the supervision of the Medical Director. May also dispense narcotic treatment therapies as needed in place of dispensing nurses.- Educates patients regarding how to take prescribed medication and possible side effects.- Provides health counseling services under the supervision of the MD and follows the progress of patients. Makes appropriate records of findings during examinations and submits charts to MD for signature.Responsibilities:Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnessesPrescribe all necessary medications and treatmentsPerform comprehensive physical examinations of patientsDevelop and implement patient management policies and proceduresFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilitiesCommunicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient careQualifications:Previous experience in nursing or other medical fieldsAbility to build rapport with patientsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualities
