STAFFING COORDINATOR/RECRUITER POSITION We are in need of a dynamic Staffing Coordinator/Recruiter for our San Rafael office. In order to be considered you must have real world experience with inter-personal recruiting, interviewing, pre-screening and reference checking. As we are a personal service business you must have these hands on and person- to- person skills in your toolbox. We are also seeking someone who is active in the community and willing to become a "known" name with CNA schools and other community partners. The Staffing Coordinator reports directly to the Local Branch Manager with office hours of Monday through Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm. You will be expected to present yourself in the most professional and engaging manner while representing our premier homecare company in the areas of recruiting, retention and employee relations. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills so that you may effectively convey our company philosophy and the benefits of employment with our company to prospective employees and potential employee referral contacts throughout the San Rafael service area. This position is about:RECRUITING: On-site recruiting and communication with prospective employees accessed from internet postings, print ads, community center flyer distribution and other forms of media. Maintaining existing recruitment programs / applicant tracking systems and developing new and varied sources of prospective employees. Off-site recruiting at job fairs, career centers, schools, and more!INTERVIEWING AND HIRING: Perform the pre-screening, interviewing, testing and complete reference checking of all candidates. Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in conducting face to face interviews, running background checks, and completing reference calls.ONBOARDING: Conduct all new- hire orientation sessions for incoming employees.EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Serve as a mentor and advocate for employees. Manage recognition programs, perform annual reviews, serve as coach and counsel, and handle all formal disciplinary actions.Qualifications:Recruiting and staffing experience on a personal levelDesire to recruit for a high-volume position 80% of your work dayKnowledge of online and in-person recruiting sourcesAbility to “think outside the box” for fresh recruiting ideasComputer proficiency with MS Word and Excel; quick to learn new systemsExcellent interpersonal skillsGreat motivation, energy, and desire to grow with the companyExcellent oral & written communication skillsAbility to multi-taskStrong attention to detail and follow upMust possess a positive, "team player" attitude with ability to work closely with Branch Team, HR Team and Corporate TeamAbility to pass a pre- employment drug screen, reference check, motor vehicle check, and LiveScan fingerprinting background check.
