Mountain Rythym is a hand drum manufacturer from Canada that selects and builds locally sourced woods. This Ashiko drum is 12-inch x 27-inch , is made of solid cherry stained pine and is outfitted with a high quality 12" goatskin drum head. The Simple Twist tuning system takes the hard work out of tuning this drum if needed. I selected this drum at the 2005 NAMM show which is an international musical instrument trade show. Companies will typically bring their very best examples to these shows. This drum was hand selected by myself as the very best sounding 12" drum of the seven or eight other examples Mountain Rythym brought to the show. The bass is huge on this drum! This drum is like new and retails for $299.00 Also included is a quality padded backpack gig bag ($99 retail) and tuning tool.
