Overview Concord property management is looking for an experienced property manager to oversee their growing San Francisco portfolio. Concord Real Estate is based in Los Angeles and you will work closely with the Director of Property Management and San Francisco staff. The Property Manager is charged with supporting management’s efforts in the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures and programs that will assure a well-managed building, placing maximum emphasis on positive responses to the concerns and needs of the tenants. In absence of Executive staff, the Property Manager must provide “in charge” responsibilities for the property. These responsibilities include being on-call 24 hours, managing and delegating maintenance staff and contractorsSkills, Knowledge and Personal Characteristics The following attributes are desirable for job success: exceptional communication and organizational skills; detail oriented and accurate especially with numbers; customer service experience; ability to work under pressure; self-motivated and self-directed; ability to assert oneself; exemplary time management skills; ability to work with staff in solving problems and ability to take direction and function as part of a team.General Duties§ Oversee the day to day management of properties in portfolio. San Francisco – currently 6 buildings and growing.§ Maintains properties by investigating and resolving tenant complaints; enforcing rules of occupancy; inspecting vacant units and completing repairs; planning renovations.§ Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services; supervising repairs.§ Secures property by contracting with security patrol service; installing and maintaining security devices; establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures; responding to emergencies.§ Enforces occupancy policies and procedures by confronting violators.§ Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.§ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. § Available to accept emergency calls on nights and weekends.§ Works with owners and leasing to develop maintenance strategies for all properties.§ Provides oversight of bids from contractors for repair and maintenance.§ Works with HR to recruit, hire & train new team members (on an as needed basis).§ Performs other related duties as assigned.Other Requirements§ Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University with two to three years’ industry experience/or equivalent combination of education and experience.§ Strong working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.§ 2+ years of directly relevant Commercial Real Estate Property Management experience.Compensation § Full time salary - competitive§ competitive benefit plan If you are interested in this position, please rely back with the subject: SF Property Manager, and include your resume and salary history.
