We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.SCOPEResponsible for the management of an assigned sales territory and marketplace, special assignment areas and key accounts by developing and implementing strategies and objectives. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES-Generate profits through the sale of company products and services to all classes of customers as defined.-Develops sales forecast.-Sales control; control of volume, margins and expenses.-Identify and initiate contact with potential prospects.-Prepare proposals quotes, contracts and supporting promotional activities.-Is knowledgeable about the company’s competition – their products, capabilities, strengths and weaknesses.-Monitor industry and competitive market shifts..-Prepares travel itinerary, call reports, call records and expense accounts.-Reports on lost orders and reasons for competitive products purchase and informs management.-Assists customers in writing purchase justification for ARIA products.-Recommends channels of distribution, direct or distribution.-Recommends pricing and pricing policies.-Maintain strong relationships with key customers. Both Engineering and purchasing contacts.-Develop new customer relationships.-Entertains customers for the purpose of generating revenue.-Build consultative relationship within existing and new customer base.-Troubleshoot field testing, new product designs, contracts and billing problems with the customers.-Conduct field demonstrations of products (inside and outside).-Participate in local, regional and national trade shows, and other meetings as required.-Maintains expense control. SKILLS/REQUIREMENTSMust be technically oriented with a background in the design and manufacture of fiber optic cable assemblies and its’ associated components. Must have industry experience and strong relationships with customer, vendors and key industry experts. Must have thorough knowledge in selling and account management. Must be able to develop strong relationships with customers and vendors. Must be self-motivated and driven for success. Must be able to team and develop strong cross-functional relationships. Must be an exceptionally strong communicator and have good organization skills.
